The practice emphasizes Fear Free care and AAHA accreditation. We seek a dedicated Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with GP experience, available weekends, and a passion for pets.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a LVT in a GP setting.
• Weekend availability (Saturday or Sunday).
• Comfortable with computers and online tools.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Collaborative and fearless team player.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication with clients.
• Passionate about pets.

Responsibilities

• Triaging patients and recognizing medical emergencies.
• Recording vitals and assisting doctors with diagnostics.
• Completing treatments as instructed by the doctor.
• Basic husbandry and nursing care.
• Monitoring changes in patients and providing compassionate care.
• Taking blood and placing catheters.
• Assisting radiography capture and preparing samples for labs.
• Running in-house labs and preparing medications.
