Aspen Grove Veterinary Care in Fort Collins, Colorado is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our busy, growing small animal practice. Full-time or part-time hours are available, with a strong foundation in veterinary tech skills and compassionate patient care.

You’ll work with veterinarians and the team to monitor anesthesia, draw blood, run diagnostics, assist with imaging, and care for hospitalized patients while growing professionally

Qualifications

• Veterinary assistant experience or RVT credentials.
• Strong technical and patient-care skills.
• Knowledge of anesthetic monitoring.
• Experience running in-house diagnostics.
• Excellent client-service and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a busy small-animal practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures.
• Perform blood draws.
• Run in-house diagnostics and laboratory testing.
• Assist with diagnostic imaging.
• Maintain medical notes and patient records.
• Provide excellent client service and patient care.
• Care for hospitalized patients.
