What You’ll Do

As a Floater Nurse at MVA, you’ll step in and support various departments based on need, making each day both challenging and rewarding. In this role, you will:
  • Rotate among different specialties, including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, emergency, and more, quickly adapting to each department’s protocols.
  • Provide hands-on assistance during procedures—from general patient care and diagnostic workups to advanced interventions—under the guidance of senior technicians and specialists.
  • Manage a range of technical tasks, such as venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, medication administration, and patient record-keeping.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams, learning from specialists and fellow technicians to expand your expertise across multiple areas of veterinary medicine.
  • Maintain a high level of organization, ensuring each department is stocked with necessary supplies and that equipment is ready for immediate use.
  • Embrace continuous growth, seeking out learning opportunities and applying new skills to become a highly versatile, well-rounded technician.

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following available schedules:
  • Tuesday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Compensation
  • Starting at $25.00/hour
