Job summary

CityVet is seeking Veterinary Technicians to join our team in Queen Creek, AZ. We are a vet-led clinic focused on a friendly, patient-centered approach where every employee helps create a positive environment for pets and people.

A Veterinary Technician Assistant will be considered with a minimum of 1 year experience. Compensation is based on experience and education, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age at hire.
• At least 1 year of veterinary industry experience.
• Ability to properly and safely restrain animals.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and medications.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarians by prepping patients for surgery and post-op monitoring.
• Obtain samples (stool, blood, etc.) for testing.
• Perform tests and help interpret results.
• Administer medications, vaccines, or anesthesia as directed.
• Communicate with clients about care plans.
• Support the Client Service Specialist team when needed.
