Job summary

Apple Country Animal Hospital in Stow, MA is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team. We welcome both credentialed and experienced non-credentialed technicians and emphasize collaboration, client education, and ongoing learning.

You will perform venipuncture, anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, in-house diagnostics, and surgical support while maintaining meticulous records and patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum technical experience as a veterinary technician.
• CVT preferred but not required.
• Experience with anesthesia and patient monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and sample collection.
• Provide IV catheter placement and administer medications.
• Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Perform dental procedures and radiography as trained.
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist veterinarians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client education.
