Qualifications

• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• CVT preferred but not required.
• Experienced non-credentialed technicians are encouraged to apply.
• Strong venipuncture and patient-handling skills.
• Experience with anesthesia and surgical patient monitoring.
• Comfortable working with both canine and feline patients.
• Ability to work independently while remaining highly collaborative.
• Strong communication and client-education skills.
• Dependable, proactive, and willing to jump in where needed.
• Commitment to quality patient care and continued professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Venipuncture and laboratory sample collection.
• Administering medications, injections, and treatments.
• Anesthesia induction, monitoring, and patient recovery.
• Dental procedures and dental radiography based on experience.
• Digital radiology and diagnostic imaging.
• Surgical preparation and assistance.
• In-house laboratory testing.
• Patient restraint and low-stress handling.
• Technician appointments and outpatient treatments as appropriate.
• Supporting veterinarians during appointments and procedures.
• Patient assessment and monitoring.
• Client education and discharge instructions.
• Maintaining accurate medical records.
• Helping mentor and support less experienced team members.
