ACCESS South Bay is seeking an ER Overnight Supervisor to join our growing team!

We comprise emergency, critical care, cardiology, internal medicine, neurology, and surgery services, providing the highest level of care for pets in our community.

Job Purpose:

• Provide the primary point of contact for all technical questions, comments, concerns, and issues.
• Reduce the time spent by doctors and technical staff on responsibilities or missed duties by providing oversight for all technical employees during shifts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee team members during shifts to ensure their work is excellent.
• Address patient/doctor issues promptly for expedient and satisfactory resolution.
• Assign patients based on case severity and technical skill level.
• Update patient census forms and boards regularly.
• Maintain the Triage Board as per hospital protocols.
• Ensure proper patient rounds and transfers.
• Manage technical staff resources within the Emergency Department.
• Train staff in technical areas as assigned by the Technician Manager.
• Serve as primary key-holder or Cubex resource as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience in a lead/supervisor role.

Compensation: $29 - $36/hr + $2/hr differential.
