Job summary

Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital in Plymouth Meeting, PA, is hiring a Veterinary Emergency Technician for a full-time overnight shift (Sun-Wed, 8pm-6am). Starting pay is $21–$26/hr with a $4 shift differential and bonus incentives. We offer medical/dental/vision, 401(k) matching, PTO, CE allowance, tuition reimbursement, and more.

Qualifications

• ER or ICU experience with ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Strong clinical skills including IV placement, venipuncture, labs, anesthesia.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergency patients with fluids, meds, and lifesaving interventions.
• Partner with ER veterinarians on treatment plans for acute/complex cases.
• Support pet parents with clear, compassionate communication.
• Maintain workspace readiness for rapid action.
