Responsibilities

• Perform and support inpatient and outpatient care, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and discharges.
• Assist with emergency cases, anesthesia, and surgical preparation/monitoring.
• Manage labs, bloodwork, radiographs, and medication administration.
• Provide clear client communication and education.
• Maintain medical records and patient logs (SOAPs).
• Monitor hospitalized patients and support overnight emergencies.
• Participate in training and mentorship for new team members.
• Support department organization, cleanliness, and inventory.

Veterinary Technician - Emergency - Overnight (Sign-On Bonus Eligible)

This position is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Location: Plymouth Meeting, PA

Compensation

• Starting at $21-$26/hr, depending on experience and credentials

What you’ll do

• Perform and support inpatient and outpatient care, including triage, diagnostics, treatments, and discharges
• Assist with emergency cases, anesthesia, and surgical preparation/monitoring
• Manage labs, bloodwork, radiographs, and medication administration (IV, IM, SQ, oral)
• Provide clear, compassionate client communication and education
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient logs (SOAPs)
• Monitor hospitalized patients, collaborate on rounds, and support overnight emergencies (if applicable)
• Participate in training and mentorship for new team members
• Support your department’s organization, cleanliness, and inventory

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time position with the following schedule: Night shift (overnight) – typical shifts may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
