Job summary

Hickory Veterinary and Specialty Hospital, part of COVE Animal Health, seeks an Emergency Veterinary Technician in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Starting at $21/hr with a $5,000 sign-on and $2,000 retention bonus.

Shifts include 2pm-2am, 4pm-2am, and 8pm-6am with extra differential; work four 10-hour shifts as needed. Join a team that offers medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with match, generous PTO, CE allowance, tuition reimbursement, mental health support, pet care discounts, volunteer time, and uniform

Qualifications

• ER/ICU experience is required.
• Strong clinical skills including IV placement, venipuncture, lab processing, and anesthesia.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced ER setting.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergency patients with fluids, meds, and life-saving interventions.
• Partner with ER vets on treatment plans for acute cases.
• Support pet parents with clear, compassionate communication.
• Keep the workspace ready for fast action.

**$5,000 Sign-on Bonus + $2,000 Retention Bonus**

Schedule

• Thursday-Saturday: 2pm-2am - Additional Shift Differential
• Wednesday-Saturday: 4pm-2am - Additional Shift Differential
• Sunday - Wednesday: 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM - Additional $4 shift differentia
• 4 - 10hr shifts ranging from: 6am-9pm

Some weekend availability needed.
