BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN is hiring experienced Emergency Veterinary Technicians for day shifts!

Qualified LVT applicants are eligible for up to $1,500 sign-on bonus.

Schedule: Day Shift, rotating weekends & holidays required.

Pay: $21.00 - $41.00 per hour. This starting pay depends on experience and advancement through our leveling system.

Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

We have immediate openings for mid shifts at our growing Specialty and Emergency hospital in Nashville. These shifts qualify for shift differential pay premium.

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:

1. Perform physical exams and monitor vital signs.
2. Recognize abnormal parameters and alert the veterinarian.
3. Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
4. Follow treatment orders accurately and timely.
5. Monitor patient status and alert veterinarians of changes.
6. Calculate medical dosages and understand medication classifications.
7. Administer medications and prepare discharge instructions.
8. Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
9. Implement animal husbandry practices to ensure well-being.
10. Provide nursing care and assist with anesthesia monitoring.
11. Stay current with CPR guidelines and hospital standards.
