BluePearl Pet Hospital in Nashville, TN is looking for experienced ICU Veterinary Technicians in our quickly growing Specialty and Emergency hospital in Nashville.

If you are a technician who loves providing nursing care to hospitalized cases and offering comfort to critically ill or injured patients, we want to hear from you! We are seeking an experienced, highly ambitious, self-motivated, and compassionate candidate to join our team. The successful candidate will work alongside our team of experienced technicians, assistants, ER doctors, and specialists to provide remarkable care for pets.

Pay: $21.00 - $41.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and depends on experience and progression through our leveling system.

Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

As an ICU/Critical Care Technician, your responsibilities will include:

1. Triage and obtain patient history.
2. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
3. Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines.
4. Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
5. Collaborate with other skilled technicians and assistants to deliver advanced medicine.
6. Mentor and train co-workers.
7. Provide care that nurses critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.
