Job summary

Route 66 VECCC in Albuquerque, NM, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Veterinary Technician for overnight, day, or mid shifts. $22–$27/hr DOE plus $3/hr overnight differential. This full-time role welcomes RVTs and veterinary assistants with a strong commitment to patient care and client service.

Qualifications

  • Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) certification preferred but not required.
  • 2 years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant.

  • Collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Place IV catheters and venipuncture; administer premedication, anesthesia induction and monitoring.
  • Dental prophylaxis and radiography; perioperative care and surgical nursing.
  • Deliver exceptional client service and outstanding patient care during critical times.
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.

  • Deliver exceptional client service and outstanding patient care, making a direct impact on the lives of pets and their families during critical times

  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams
