Job summary

Route 66 Emergency & Critical Care Center, part of Ethos Veterinary Health, seeks a Hospital Manager in Albuquerque to lead operations, team performance, and client/patient experience. This full-time role partners with the Hospital Director and Medical Director to ensure daily efficiency and a high-performing team.

You will oversee front desk operations, staffing, and scheduling, drive process improvements, and support budget tracking and growth opportunities while upholding a culture of respect

  • Help implement strategies to improve client satisfaction, retention, and experience.
  • Contribute to hospital financial health through labor management, inventory oversight, cost awareness, and KPI monitoring.
  • Partner with Hospital Director on budget tracking and forecasting, and growth opportunities.
  • Support revenue growth through improved operations and client experience.
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members and ongoing staff development.
  • Conduct or assist with performance evaluations and development plans.
  • Collaborate with Hospital Director and Medical Director on strategic decisions and act as liaison.

Hospital Manager - Route 66 Emergency & Critical Care Center

$75,000/year – $85,000/year

Full-time opportunity in Albuquerque, New Mexico

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with a varying schedule to cover shifts across the week as well as occasional weekend days

The Hospital Manager is a key operational and cultural leader within the hospital, responsible for supporting team performance, operational efficiency, and a positive workplace environment. This role partners closely with the Hospital Director and Medical Director to ensure smooth daily operations, a high-performing team, and an exceptional client and patient experience.

In your day-to-day, you will:

  • Help implement strategies to improve client satisfaction, retention, and experience

  • Partner with the Hospital Director on budget tracking and forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities
