Responsibilities

Triage patients and obtain medical histories, vital signs, and assessments
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and lab sample collection
Monitor anesthesia and provide nursing care during surgery
Obtain diagnostic imaging and assist radiology procedures
Document patient care and client communications in medical records
Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, prevention
Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding care

What You'll Do

Triage patients and obtain thorough medical histories, vital signs, and patient assessments
Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, fluid therapy, and laboratory sample collection

Educate clients on medications, discharge instructions, preventive care, and treatment plans
Provide compassionate nursing care from patient admission through discharge
Collaborate with doctors and teammates to provide outstanding patient care

What You'll Bring

Certified Veterinary Technician credential or graduation from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program with plans to take the VTNE
Strong technical skills, including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, patient nursing, and surgical assistance
Experience with radiology, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic imaging
Excellent patient handling skills; Fear Free certification is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
