Anticipated Schedule

This is a full-time day-shift position.

  • Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday 9:00am - 7:30pm

Compensation

  • Starting at $22-30/hr, commensurate with experience
Requirements

What You’ll Do

As a Surgical Veterinary Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our surgical department runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting veterinarians and licensed technicians in a variety of procedures. In this role, you will:

  • Assist with surgical preparation, including patient setup and monitoring
  • Maintain sterile environments in surgical suites
  • Support veterinarians and technicians during surgical procedures
  • Monitor and assist with post-operative recovery
  • Ensure exceptional patient care and comfort at all times
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure efficiency and safety
  • Assist with advanced procedures and work with cutting-edge equipment, including CT, MRI, digital radiology, laser therapy, and more

  • Veterinary surgical experience preferred, but we are open to training the right candidate with strong general nursing skills
