What You’ll Do
  • Assist Oncology Nurses and Oncologists in providing exceptional patient care.
  • Running bloodwork, assisting with radiographs, creating chemotherapy trays, loading patient rooms.
  • Facilitate communication between departments, doctors, and hospital support staff to ensure efficient operations.
  • Utilize sound technical skills for treatments, patient diagnostics, and procedures.
  • Maintain patient/client records with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Help manage the daily schedule for the Oncology Service, ensuring patient and client needs are met.
  • Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA and AAHA standards.
  • Provide guidance and training to others, sharing specialized knowledge and skills as needed.
Anticipated Schedule

This is a full‑time position with the following available schedules:

  • Monday-Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Please note that some holidays are required.
Compensation
  • Starting at $18.00/hr

What We’re Looking For:
  • At least 6 months of clinical experience or equivalent educational background.
  • Proficiency in small animal handling and restraint techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 35 lbs (or more with assistance).
  • Physical ability to sit/stand/restrain for up to 60 minutes with proper PPE (gloves, gowns, N95 mask, goggles).
