NewDay Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join our team. You will assist veterinarians, perform diagnostic imaging, maintain medical records, and help manage exams and treatments in a fast-paced, compassionate clinic environment.

We value teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to work independently when needed. The role includes animal handling, anesthesia monitoring, and opportunities for growth within a supportive, pet-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Veterinary Assistant or Technician.
• Lab, medical records and SOAP knowledge relevant to patient care.
• Surgery experience is a plus; ability to read basic diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care and support clinic productivity.
• Assist veterinarians during examinations and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic imaging such as x-rays and ultrasound.
• Maintain medical charts and administer medications.
• Handle kennels, exam rooms and equipment sanitation.
• Communicate basic diagnoses to pet parents.
