Job summary

Portland Vet Stroudwater is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to deliver care in a newly opened general practice. You’ll support exams, diagnostics, surgeries, and client communication in a collaborative environment.

The role emphasizes strong animal handling, veterinary terminology, and efficient clinic workflows. Expect a full-time schedule with potential for weekend day and growth opportunities in a modern GP facility.

• Maintain tidy and organized treatment rooms, exam rooms, and supply areas.
• Communicate with clients and provide guidance during their visit.

As our new GP clinic opens its doors we’re seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to help deliver exceptional patient and client care in a collaborative and expanding environment. Anticipated Schedule

This is a full time position Monday through Thursday to start no weekends or holidays potential for a weekend day with growth; flexibility is appreciated. Bonus potential for very experienced assistants

Compensation

Pay range 23 29hr commensurate with experience and credentials

What You’ll Do

• Strong organizational multitasking and communication skills in a fast paced clinic environment
• Tech savvy and comfortable learning software like ezyVet
