Qualifications

• Experienced veterinary assistant.
• Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred.
• Strong skills in patient handling, clinical support, and dental imaging.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software (EzyVet, SmartFlow) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support preparation and post procedure care for sedated or anesthetized patients.
• Assist with advanced periodontal diagnostics and procedures and dental surgeries.
• Be responsible for loading appointments, intake, estimates, discharges, etc.
• Clean and restock exam rooms and treatment areas.
• Accurately handle and care for instruments, including cleaning agents and sterilization prep.
• Operate steam sterilization equipment and routine maintenance.

Anticipated Schedule

This is a full time day shift position Tuesday Friday 800am 630pm Some holidays are required Compensation Starting at 22 30hr commensurate with experience

What Youll Do

• Support preparation and post procedure care for sedated or anesthetized patients
• Assist with advanced periodontal diagnostics and procedures endodontic therapy prosthodontic procedures periodontal surgery and oral surgery
• Be responsible for loading appointments intake estimates discharges etc
• Clean and restock exam rooms treatment areas etc
• Accurately handle and care for instruments appropriately including appropriate selection of cleaning agents lubricants examination of function identification and assembly and preparation for sterilization
• Operate steam sterilization equipment including routine cleaning and maintenance

Who We Are Looking For

• Experienced veterinary assistant
• Experience assisting with veterinary dentistry preferred
• Strong skills in patient handling clinical support and dental imaging
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Confidence working in a fast paced collaborative environment
• Familiarity with veterinary medical software eg EzyVet SmartFlow a plus
• A positive attitude and commitment to compassionate care
