Duties and Responsibilities
- Check patient medical records for past histories, enter in computer system and file.
- Take medical histories and vital signs of patients.
- Maintain client educational material efficiently.
- Perform departmental housekeeping duties.
- Admit and discharge patients.
- Takes, processes, and logs prescription refills in-house, call‑out pharmacy and online pharmacy.
- Monitor hospital patients and log vital signs.
- Administer medications to patients as needed.
- Place catheters and perform blood draws.
- Restrain and assist the doctor during exams, treatments, and anesthesia procedures.
- Lift up to 50 pounds, stoop, bend, and stand on feet for long periods.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED, and 1‑2 years of related experience or training; equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Veterinary Technicians in Arkansas are preferred but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
