Animal Medical Center (AMC) is the oldest veterinary clinic in Hattiesburg, serving the community since the 1950s. AMC has provided extended weekday emergency hours and 24-hour weekend care for over 22 years. We offer services ranging from preventative and maintenance care to specialized services like ICU, laparoscopic, neurologic, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and oncological surgeries.

We practice the GOLD STANDARD of medicine in a state-of-the-art hospital, performing advanced techniques and striving for excellence in pet healthcare while exceeding client expectations. Working in both emergency and general practice provides a variety of cases and opportunities to learn and teach new skills.

About You:

Veterinary Assistants are vital to patient care, assisting with disinfecting kennels, caring for clients, supporting night shift and treatment technicians, and providing quality nursing care. We seek a compassionate, dependable team member eager to utilize and develop their skills. Experience is preferred but not required; a desire to learn and grow is essential.

Schedule and Benefits:

Shifts are from 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to midnight, including weekends and holidays.
