Job summary

Harris Boulevard Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our two-doctor small animal and exotic practice. This part-time role involves supporting veterinarians during exams and procedures, performing pharmacy duties, and maintaining patient records.

Qualifications

• Requires previous veterinary technician or assistant experience.
• Experience with anesthesia monitoring and patient care is a plus.
• Excellent communication and client service abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform pharmacy duties and medication preparation.
• Collect laboratory samples and perform in-house testing.
• Obtain and process diagnostic radiographs.
• Monitor and maintain anesthetized patients during procedures.
• Provide nursing support and patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Communicate with clients about care plans and follow-ups.
• Support daily hospital operations and workflow.

What Our Veterinary Technicians/Assistants Do

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and procedures
