PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia team. This full-time position offers advanced anesthesia, surgery, and specialty medicine experience alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will have strong anesthesia monitoring, patient assessment skills, and a commitment to high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced specialty environment.

Qualifications

• Experienced Veterinary Technician, Vet Tech, CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred.
• Anesthesia, surgery, specialty, emergency, or critical care experience preferred.
• Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced specialty veterinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing anesthesia cases while collaborating with board-certified specialists and VTS technicians.
• Perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures alongside each surgeon.
• Obtain and process laboratory samples, including blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates.
• Execute, monitor, and recover assigned sedation and anesthetic events.
• Assist with operating room duties as a nurse and scrub-in technician during orthopedic surgeries.

PEAK Veterinary Referral Center in Williston, VT is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our Anesthesia team. This full-time Veterinary Technician opportunity is ideal for a Vet Tech looking to expand advanced anesthesia, surgery, and specialty medicine skills while working alongside board-certified specialists in a collaborative specialty animal hospital.

As a Veterinary Technician on our Anesthesia team, you’ll support advanced procedures including surgery, MRI, CT, and complex specialty cases while practicing high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-focused environment.

Compensation

• $22–$35/hour, based on credentialing, experience, and skill set
