Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians in surgery and in exam rooms.
• Assist with all surgical procedures.
• Place IV catheters.
• Perform diagnostic tests including in-house labs.
• Fill prescriptions.
• Communicate directly with clients via phone, text, and in person.
• Answer a multi-line phone system.
• Schedule appointments and/or surgical procedures.
• Greet clients and patients in person and over the phone.
• Check patients in/out for surgical procedures.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated, veterinary technician to join our growing team. We are looking for exceptionally compassionate individuals that possess both strong interpersonal and technical skills. These individuals will be expected to provide the highest level of quality service and outstanding care to the clients and patients of our hospital.

Mountainwood Pet Hospital is a four doctor, general practice in Windsor, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and client service. We have an enthusiastic and friendly team of individuals who are genuinely interested in outstanding service and quality care for our clients and their pets.

Our hours of operation: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Wednesday 9:00AM – 7:00PM, and Saturday 9:00 AM-1:00 PM
