Job summary

Priority Pet Urgent Care in Palm Beach, FL is opening a state-of-the-art veterinary urgent care hospital in November 2026. Open Thursday - Monday from 3 pm to 11 pm, the team seeks experienced veterinary technicians to join a fast-paced environment delivering high-quality care and compassionate service.

The role includes animal restraint, triage, lab work, imaging, nursing care, medication administration, and communication of treatment plans with clients.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred but not required.
  • CVT highly preferred but not required for this position.
  • Consistent punctuality and reliability in adherence to scheduled shifts.
  • Excellent client communication and medical record management skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of veterinary procedures, preventative care, and hospital operations.
  • Expertise in safe and low-stress animal restraint techniques.
  • Proficiency in sample collection methods including blood, urine, fecal, and skin specimens.
  • Experience in radiographic positioning, anesthesia administration, and surgical monitoring.

Responsibilities

  • Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients.
  • Collection and analysis of lab samples and diagnostic imaging.
  • Nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying stability.

Priority Pet Urgent Care is excited to bring a brand-new, state‑of‑the‑art urgent care hospital to Palm Beach, FL, opening in November, 2026!

Open Thursday - Monday from 3 pm to 11 pm, Priority Pet Urgent Care is designed to provide convenient, high‑quality care for pets with urgent medical needs while creating an exceptional experience for clients and team members.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

Animal restraint, triage of incoming patients, collection and analysis of lab samples, diagnostic imaging, management and nursing care of medical and hospitalized cases with varying degrees of stability, administration of medications, effective communication of treatment plans with clients, surgical preparation and assistance, and anesthetic management.

Must be able to withstand unpleasant odors and noises. May be exposed to bites, scratches, animal waste and potentially contagious diseases.
