Waynesburg Animal Hospital in rural Greene County, Pennsylvania, is hiring a full‑time Veterinary Technician to join our three‑doctor small animal practice. We seek an experienced and/or licensed technician to support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.

Responsibilities

  • Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures and surgeries.
  • Provide attentive nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients.
  • Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
  • Assist with medication administration, treatments and monitoring.
  • Support anesthesia, surgical preparation, monitoring and recovery.
  • Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with diagnostic testing.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and client education.
  • Keep treatment areas clean, organized and stocked.
  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver high‑quality care.

We’re looking for an experienced and/or licensed Veterinary Technician to join our hardworking, animal-loving team.

Role: Veterinary Technician

Status: Full-time

Salary: Competitive compensation based on experience and skill set

Schedule: Four-day workweek. Weekends OFF!

What You’ll Do
  • Support veterinarians during examinations, treatments, procedures, and surgeries.

  • Communicate with clients and provide education regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care.
  • Keep treatment and patient-care areas clean, organized, stocked, and ready for the day.
  • Collaborate with doctors and teammates to deliver high-quality, efficient patient care.
