About

Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center (WVRC) is a 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital dedicated to providing high-quality emergency and specialty veterinary care. WVRC offers a warm, friendly atmosphere focused on compassionate care and outstanding customer service.

We are seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to support our Emergency team during 3rd shift. We offer a $3000 hiring bonus for qualified candidates!

Schedule

• Full-time Overnights
• 4/9’s or 3/12’s schedule
• Every other weekend
• Some holidays included
• No on-call requirement

Compensation

• Starting at $21/hour, commensurate with experience
• Shift differentials: $3/hr for second shift, $5/hr for third shift
• Double time pay on holidays worked
• $3000 hiring bonus

Role Responsibilities

Support our overnight emergency service in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include multitasking, organizational tasks, broad nursing knowledge, and technical skills such as restraint, phlebotomy, catheter placement, and general nursing care. Knowledge of general anesthesia is a plus.
