Job summary

Thrive Pet Healthcare is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our Turnersville, NJ team. You will provide hands-on, end-to-end care for our patients, support outpatient treatments, and perform in-house lab work while coordinating admissions and discharges.

The position requires at least 2 years of clinical veterinary experience; CVT/RVT/LVT credentials are preferred and strong anesthesia skills are valued.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred; anesthesia skills including blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and capnography support patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end care for patients including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.
  • Assist doctors with anesthesia and monitoring; admit and discharge patients as needed.

Thrive Pet Healthcare is looking for a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our team as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community in Turnersville, NJ.

You'll play an important role in pets' lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care)
  • CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred
  • Has strong anesthesia skills (Able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, Sp02, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care)
  • Possesses a positive work attitude
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organization skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and credentials, with an expected starting range of $20 - $22 / hour. The actual compensation will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
