Job summary

Keystone Veterinary Emergency & Referral is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician for its Swing-Shift and Overnight team in Havertown, PA. You will provide end-to-end patient care, including outpatient treatments, labs, admissions, and discharges, while supporting doctors with anesthesia and monitoring.

The role emphasizes strong technical anesthesia skills, effective communication, and a proactive, self-motivated attitude within Thrive Pet Healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of clinical veterinary experience as a Veterinary Technician (direct patient care).
• Must have ability to work Swing or Overnight Shifts.
• CVT/RVT/LVT (active and current) preferred.
• Has strong anesthesia skills (able to obtain Blood pressure, ECG, SpO2, and ETC02 and integrate clinical signs with disease processes to assist doctors in early and appropriate intervention of patient care).
• Possesses a positive work attitude
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication and organization skills

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end care for patients including outpatient treatments and laboratory tests.

You’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our precious patients. Your life-changing work will range from the hands-on care of facilitating outpatient treatments and performing laboratory tests, to support services including admitting and discharging patients.

Your Experience & Skills
