Thrive Turnersville is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join us as part of the Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As a Veterinary Technician, you’ll play an important role in pets’ lives by providing end-to-end care for our patients. Your work will include hands-on care, outpatient treatments, laboratory tests, and support services like admitting and discharging patients.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
  • Assist veterinarians and the medical team to maximize productivity and maintain positive patient flow.
  • Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act for credentialed veterinary technicians.
  • Communicate with clients about pet health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and treatments.
  • Maintain medical records with practice systems.
  • Obtain health history and information from clients and maintain medical charts.
  • Use safe restraining techniques, follow protocols, and keep treatment areas clean and organized.
  • Guide, mentor, and support fellow team members.
Experience & Skills Requirements:
  • License preferred but not required
  • Proper canine/feline restraint techniques
  • Phlebotomy experience (basic blood draws)
  • At least 3 years’ experience as a vet assistant or technician
  • Good attendance
  • Positive personality
  • Team driven
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible scheduling up to 29 hrs weekly

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, starting at $20 - $22/hour. The actual rate considers your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
