Job summary

Coco-Park Animal Hospital, part of the VetCor network, seeks an experienced Veterinary Technician for a full-time role. You will participate in treatment room procedures, anesthesia, surgery, and dentistry while collaborating with a dedicated team to deliver excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint.

• Obtain diagnostic radiographs and in-house testing.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs
• Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
• Perform in-house laboratory testing
• Assist with treatment room procedures
• Participate in surgical and dental procedures
• Assist with dental radiology and prophylaxis
• Monitor patients under anesthesia
• Assist veterinarians and the medical team with advanced procedures
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff
• Document patient records and client interactions clearly and accurately
