Job summary

Coco-Park Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited practice. You will work in a team-driven environment with duties in anesthesia, dentistry, radiography, and lab testing.

Qualifications

• Technician with state license or eligibility to practice veterinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe patient handling and restraint.

What Our Veterinary Technicians Do

• Provide safe and effective patient handling and restraint
• Support preventative care and vaccine appointments
• Obtain diagnostic radiographs
• Perform phlebotomy and collect diagnostic samples
• Perform in-house laboratory testing
• Assist with treatment room procedures
• Participate in surgical and dental procedures
• Assist with dental radiology and prophylaxis
• Monitor patients under anesthesia
• Assist veterinarians and the medical team with advanced procedures
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and staff
• Document patient records and client interactions clearly and accurately
