VCA Pacific Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our expanding team!

Our AAHA-accredited, full-service facility offers Preventative/Routine care, Surgery, Dental procedures, Urgent Care, and Hospitalization. We focus on high-quality patient care through a team approach and are committed to continuous improvement in veterinary medicine.

Overall Responsibility:

Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians provide compassionate veterinary care, support continuing education, and foster career development in a progressive learning environment. Responsibilities include:

1. Collecting patient histories and reviewing referral records
2. Performing physical exams and reporting to the doctor
3. Placing and maintaining intravenous catheters
4. Performing radiographs and diagnostic imaging
5. Obtaining laboratory samples and conducting in-hospital diagnostics
6. Calculating drug dosages accurately
7. Managing client invoices and billing for services
8. Maintaining accurate medical records
9. Ensuring a clean and safe work environment following infection protocols

Schedule & Compensation:

This is a full-time position with afternoon and Saturday shifts, utilizing a flexible 4x10 schedule. Compensation ranges from $26 to $30 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for financial growth are available.
