BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring an Overnight Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our ER department!

This position is eligible for qualified candidates to receive up to a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedules: Day, Swing, or Overnight with weekend availability.

LVT II Pay: $27.25 - $38.80 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through the CareerTrax leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked during nights and weekends.
*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum.

Examples of shift differentials:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $4.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $4.00 Shift Differential

Responsibilities of a Veterinary Technician:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines, or PICC lines
• Perform advanced radiographs
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Provide Level 2 & 3 inpatient care

Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants to provide excellent, advanced medicine to our patients. Have a passion for mentoring and training co-workers.
