The ideal candidate will have a passion for taking care of pets and the people who love them. We are a busy small animal practice located in Sussex, WI. As a veterinary technician or experienced vet assistant (at least 2 years) you already know the skills and passion it takes to have a successful career in veterinary medicine. Some of the key skills we are looking for with this position include:

• Patience
• Medication dispensing and administering
• Surgical experience including IV catheter placement, prep, monitoring, recovery, and discharge
• Dental prophylaxis
• Obtaining medical history and maintaining accurate medical records
• Working with clients and patients
