BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team!

BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician for our ER Department. This full-time position offers swing and night shifts. As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:

1. Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia using proper equipment.
2. Perform triage for emergency cases, obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
3. Perform digital radiography with correct technique and positioning.
4. Understand normal ranges of vital signs and interpret blood pressure and other vital parameters, alerting veterinarians to changes.
5. Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
6. Calculate medical math, administer medications correctly, and place IV catheters and feeding tubes.
7. Mentor and train colleagues with patience and empathy to address client concerns.
