BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician for our ER Department. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilize and expand your skills while working alongside talented veterinary professionals.

Schedule: Full-Time

Responsibilities include:

1. Inducing, monitoring, and recovering anesthesia using specialized equipment.
2. Triage of emergency cases, including obtaining vital signs such as temperature, heart rate, respiratory rate, and blood pressure.
3. Performing digital radiography with proper patient positioning.
4. Understanding normal ranges of vital signs and alerting veterinarians to abnormalities.
5. Initiating CPR and identifying patients at risk of arrest.
6. Calculating medical dosages accurately and administering medications appropriately.
7. Performing phlebotomy and placing intravenous catheters.
8. Placing and maintaining feeding tubes and central line catheters.
9. Mentoring and training team members.
10. Addressing client concerns with patience and empathy.
