Job summary

Advanced Care Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinary Technician to join our compassionate team in Sapulpa, OK. You will support veterinarians with patient care, exams, and diagnostics in a busy clinic.

Qualifications

• Two years of veterinary experience or completion of a Veterinary Assistant program preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle and restrain patients during examinations and procedures.
• Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatments.
• Obtain diagnostics, including radiographs, phlebotomy, laboratory samples, and in-house laboratory testing.
• Provide attentive nursing care and support patient comfort.
• Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members.
• Maintain accurate patient records and client communication notes.
• Assist with clinic cleanliness, husbandry, laundry, and stocking supplies.
• Support daily hospital operations to ensure an efficient workflow.

• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: Monday through Friday with one Saturday shift per month (8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.)
