VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialist is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for an Emergency and Specialty hospital.

Located at 14790 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578, VCA Bay Area Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Hospital is a 24-hour emergency and specialty hospital serving the community for over 25 years. Position Details

Compensation: $30 - $38/hr, negotiable based on education, experience, and credentials. Shift differentials for overnight and weekend shifts range from $1.50 to $6.00 per hour.

We are seeking a talented RVT to join our overnight team, offering opportunities to expand skills and work with a variety of emergency and hospitalized patients. The ideal candidate will have excellent critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as an RVT
• At least 2 years of experience in anesthesia
• Ability to triage, assess, and examine critical patients
