Responsibilities

• Handle and restrain animals as needed during examinations and procedures.
• Room patients, assist in surgery, and support surgical recovery.
• Place IV catheters and draw blood for bloodwork.
• Position patients for radiographs and operate basic laboratory equipment.
• Communicate clearly with clients and teammates; maintain organized records.
• Maintain a clean, efficient treatment area and follow safety protocols.

At Washington County Veterinary Hospital, we are a modern facility providing our clients and patients with exceptional veterinary care. We are looking to add a full-time experienced veterinary technician-assistant to join our amazing team full of daily sunshine! The ideal candidate must be comfortable properly handling and restraining animals, rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with x-ray and proper positioning, using laboratory equipment, and being a positive and supportive team player. Salary: Up to $30.00 hourly based upon experience.

Sign-n Bonus: Eligibility for a sign-on bonus up to $5,000.00 based on experience and surgical/anesthesia experience.
