VCA Lantern Road Animal Hospital in Fishers, IN is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our collaborative team. You will collect patient histories, perform physical exams, assist with surgeries, radiographs, anesthesia monitoring, and medical treatments while maintaining meticulous patient records.

• Current RVT license to practice in Indiana.
• Experience with anesthesia and monitoring preferred.

Snapshot of the Role:

• Collecting patient histories and performing physical exams.
• IVC placement and venipuncture
• Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
• Dentals and dental radiographs
• Maintain patient records
• Client education and communication
• Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions
