VCA Animal Care Hospital in Richfield, MN is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited team. This full-time position includes some Saturdays and offers a competitive hourly wage based on experience.

Responsibilities span collecting histories, exams, IV placement, anesthesia monitoring, dentals, radiographs, records, client education, imaging, lab work, medications, and collaboration with veterinarians and staff to ensure seamless patient care.

• Surgery Prep, monitoring anesthesia and postoperative care of the patient (recovery)
• Dentals and dental radiographs
• Maintain patient records
• Client education and communication
• Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging, laboratory tests, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and other prescribed treatments.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, fellow veterinary technicians, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.

Compensation: $20 - 28/hr, and the starting range is determined by skill set and years of experience in the field.
