Job summary

Art Museum Veterinary Center LLC is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Technician to support our doctors in a busy AAHA general practice. This in-person role requires strong technical skills and a calm, confident presence with clients.

Candidates should be proficient in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthetic monitoring, dental radiographs, and drug calculations. We offer a sign-on bonus for experienced certified technicians and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Proven technical abilities in veterinary nursing required.
• Experience with canine and feline patients is essential.
• Proficiency in venipuncture, IV placement, anesthesia, radiographs and dental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main support for doctors in a busy AAHA practice.
• Educate clients on animal care and doctor recommendations.
• Triaging; collaborating with team to ensure smooth patient flow.

Veterinary Technician

Sign-on Bonus offered to experienced certified veterinary technician!

We are a very busy multi-doctor AAHA general practice in the Fairmount neighborhood on Philadelphia. We have a close, hardworking group of dedicated team members and we are looking for someone with experience to join us! We need someone with extensive technical abilities to be a main support for our doctors.

Required technical abilities include:

• Veni-puncture
• IV catheter placement
• Anesthetic monitoring, anesthetic induction/intubation, canine and feline dentistry, including proficiency with digital dental radiographs, drug calculations
• Administration of medication via injection and by mouth
• Radiology
• Knowledge and comfortability communicating about animal husbandry, care, procedures, and doctor recommendations to educate clients
• Good communication skills within the team and with clients
• Ability to triage
• A team member who has the ability to adapt to different DVM personalities and preferences.
• Licensed CVT a plus
