Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital.
• Ability to safely restrain companion animals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and medical procedures.
• Obtain laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics.
• Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision.
• Monitor anesthesia and hospitalized patients.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout their visit.
• Accurately document treatments and patient information.
• Educate pet owners on medications, home care, and preventive medicine.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area.
• Support daily hospital operations while working closely with teammates.

In This Role, You'll

What You Bring

• At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital
• Confidence handling and restraining companion animals safely
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Positive attitude and a collaborative approach to patient care
• Excellent communication and client service skills

Bonus Skills

• Experience monitoring anesthesia
• Surgical or dental assisting experience
• Familiarity with veterinary practice software
• Interest in continuing education and expanding your technical abilities
