Job summary

Best Friends Animal Hospital in Billings, MT is seeking a Veterinary Technician for a full-time role. The technician will support emergency care, triage, and preventative services, with responsibilities spanning medication dispensing, history-taking, and maintaining accurate treatment records.

• Role: Veterinary Technician
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: $16–$20 per hour (depending on experience)
• Schedule: 3-day or 4-day workweeks

Experienced and/ or Licensed Technician candidates will have experience in the following areas:

• Emergency Care & Triage
• Preventative care knowledge
• Medication dispensing and administering
• Obtaining a complete patient history and maintaining treatment records
• Pharmacology calculations
• Surgical experience (prep, monitoring, recovery, etc)
• Venipuncture and IV catheter placement
• Diagnostic imaging
• CPR

Top priority will be given to applicants with experience working in a veterinary hospital; however, we are willing to train the right applicant.
