United Veterinary Care is seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team and participate in a five-level training and progression program. The role emphasizes learning, reliability, and growth with opportunities to advance through in-house technician training with our sister hospital.

Full-time schedules include third shift and assignments in surgery, oncology, and internal medicine, with regular evenings, weekends, and rotating holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years' experience in a veterinary practice.
• Professional, pleasant communicator with clients and co-workers.
• Willingness to learn veterinary technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to pet owners in a polite and timely manner.
• Laboratory sample processing for various patients.
• Assist technicians with patient treatments and vital signs monitoring.
• Assist technicians and veterinarians with radiographs.
• Support examinations and treatments through proper handling techniques.
