Qualifications

• A.S., A.A.S., or B.S. in Veterinary Technology required.
• Experience in teaching or lab supervision preferred.
• Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning labs and overseeing lab equipment and supplies.
• Prepare operating rooms for complex surgical procedures and assist veterinarians.
• Maintain controlled drugs and surgical records; assist in spay/neuter programs.
• Ensure OSHA and USDA guidelines are followed in student activities.
• Support in education of students under faculty direction.
• Promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff and students.
• Assist in preparing and documenting clinical experiences for students.
