Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level equivalent AS/AS.S. or AA.S. in Veterinary Medical Technology.
• Current or eligible veterinary technician license in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to faculty, staff, students and the community.
• Collaborate with peers and external partners to attain university goals.
• Assist designated faculty to provide clinical and lab experiences for students under supervision.
• Oversee shelter animal care, kennel management, and animal health concerns.
• Ensure OSHA and USDA guidelines are implemented in student activities.
• Maintain records and evaluations of students during clinical experiences.
• Organize acquisition and discharge of shelter animals for teaching purposes.
• Supervise kennel staff and management of kennel activities.
