Ethos Veterinary Health, part of the NVA Group, seeks a veterinary surgeon in West Springfield, MA, offering a 4‑day work week and no on‑call or holiday requirements. The role features a base salary of $220,000–$230,000 depending on experience, plus production, with generous sign‑on and retention bonuses.

You’ll lead surgical cases in a new 12,000‑sq‑ft facility, supported by a two‑person certified technician team and specialty services liaison.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Massachusetts state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Veterinary Surgery or Residency Trained in Veterinary Surgery.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Balance time between consultations, case workups, and surgical procedures.
• Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries using available imaging and surgical equipment.
• Collaborate with other specialties to support integrated case management.
• Help shape and grow the surgical service in line with hospital priorities.
• Work alongside a dedicated surgical nursing and support team.
